Following diligent development efforts behind the scenes, MANTRA Chain has reached an important technical benchmark — the public testnet.
The launch of the public testnet marks a critical juncture in our product roadmap, allowing the community to trial network capabilities ahead of wider commercial rollout.
We’re extremely excited to officially launch MANTRA Chain as the first network dedicated to the development of compliant decentralized applications. However, before we take that big step, we want to ensure everything is as refined as possible.
The testnet will give validators hands-on experience to stress test the network and provide invaluable feedback to help us strengthen the code even further.
Phase 1 of the MANTRA Chain testnet kicks off on November 8th and will run for approximately 6 weeks.
To reward participation and attract early adopters, MANTRA Chain is allocating up to $500,000 worth of AUM tokens in incentives across both phases of the testnet.
The testnet will feature challenges where validators can earn points by completing missions. At the end, overall scores will determine token rewards distributed to top performers.
MANTRA Chain Testnet Goals (Phase 1)

1. Network Security
Test transactions and ensure everything functions securely as intended.
2. Network Enhancement
Give validators hands-on experience to provide invaluable feedback helping us refine and strengthen MANTRA Chain.
3. Early Adopter Recognition
Foster an active validator community committed to governance and upgrades by rewarding early contributions.
MANTRA Chain Testnet Missions
The Testnet Phase 1 will require validators to test various scenarios and submit evidence that the task has been completed.
